Reflections: Connecting to Country through Art
This exhibition聽highlights pieces from the University of Adelaide鈥檚 stellar Indigenous art collection.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people should be aware that this exhibition contains the names of people who have passed away.
In a collaboration between the University Library and Wirltu Yarlu Aboriginal Education, the artworks on display have been selected by our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff and students. Artworks chosen resonate with each person鈥檚 life experiences, culture, and worldview.

Through this exhibition we invite everyone to participate in聽聽(8-15 November 2020) an annual event celebrating聽the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This year鈥檚 theme,聽Always Was, Always Will Be,聽recognises that First Nations people have lived and cared for this land for over 65,000 years and encourages all Australians to embrace and acknowledge the true history of this country.聽This exhibition forms part of the University鈥檚 NAIDOC Week 2020 celebrations.
